As a PADI Master Scuba Diver you achiveve a rating that puts you in a class of distinction – writing your ticket to endless adventure and opportunities through the experience and scuba training that builds confidence as a diver. 


The Fun Part

With the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you have reached the highest non professional level in the PADI System of diver education. It means that you have acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments. See all the specialty diver courses offered.

The path starts with earning a PADI Open Water Diver certification, followed by PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certifications). You also need to earn five PADI Specialty Diver certifications and have logged a minimum of 50 dives.

To become a member of the Columbia Scuba Master Scuba Diver Crew, divers must complete all courses with us. In addition, Crew members also earn the PADI O2 Provider certification and earn the EAN/Enriched Air certification as one of the five specialties. 

Crew members are awarded a personalized Red Jacket and first option for trip spots!


  • 12 years old
  • PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
  • PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
  • Minimum of five PADI Specialty Diver courses
  • Minimum of 50 logged dives
