Adventure Diver

The PADI Adventure Diver Course with COLUMBIA SCUBA

The PADI Adventure Diver course helps you get more out of diving by introducing you to new types of scuba diving adventures. It's a great opportunity to work with your instructor to build your scuba diving skills and gain more confidence.

At Columbia Scuba, we believe the best way to grow as a diver is to keep diving—and to keep learning. If you've completed your Open Water Diver certification, the PADI Adventure Diver course may be a great next step. With Adventure Diver, you participate in the same Adventure Dives as an Advanced Open Water Student. The greatest difference is you just need to complete 3 Adventure Dives to earn the certification, not the full 5 Adventure Dives of the AOW course. There are no required dives, just pick what interests you.

With every dive, you'll build confidence, learn new techniques, and explore the underwater world more fully. And when you train with us, you’ll do it under the guidance of a dedicated Instructor who’s committed to helping you become the best diver you can be.

Your Next Adventure

After your PADI Adventure Diver certification you can take the next step by completing two more adventure dives. If you've completed five total adventure dives that include deep and navigation, you're an PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.

PADI Adventure Dives can also count towards PADI Specialty Diver certifications. For example, if you liked your Night Adventure Dive so much that you wanted to take a complete PADI Night Diver Specialty course, your Night Adventure Dive can count as the first dive of that specialty.
