The PADI Tec Basics course consists of two knowledge development sections, one practical application session and two training dives. You'll learn about:

- Trim, positioning and propulsion techniques
- Team diving techniques and emergency procedures to deal with free flows and out of gas situations
Equipment
You'll start with some of your basic recreational scuba diving equipment and begin to add technical equipment. You may dive in either a single cylinder, double cylinder or sidemount configuration. Your instructor will help you make dive equipment decisions in line with your goals.
