Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest

Posted on: 23 Oct 2014 at 21:18 by Hop, in Diving - Comment: 0 comment.

If you’re into Scuba Diving and you’re into Halloween and love carving your pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns, then you should definitely join other enthusiastic divers at the Irmo end of the Lake Murray on Sunday, October 26th beneath the surface of Lake Murray to carve jack-o-lanterns during Columbia Scuba’s annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving contest!

Underwater artists of all ages will dive with knives to pare fun-loving facial features and sea creatures and accessorize their orange gourds. Divers will be challenged to keep the hollowed out pumpkins from floating off while they carved their works of art!

Come on and join us on Sunday, October 26th for a fun way to celebrate the Halloween Holiday and blow bubbles at the same time. If you need gear for the day, rental will be free for anyone participating in the pumpkin carving.   As always, there will be prizes, hot chocolate, and plenty of atmosphere!

All divers welcome!
