Can you feel it? That chill in the air? You can see it in the leaves! The chill in the air and the changing color of the leaves means it's fall and it's already October! Of course, that means it's time for Halloween and the annual Columbia Scuba Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest!
This year's pumpkin carving contest is actually going to take place on Halloween! So, on October 31, grab your scuba gear, a pumpkin and something to carve it up with and head out to Irmo end of the Lake Murray dam at 10:AM until 12:00PM to marvel at the amazing talent of other scuba divers, share in some fun cameraderie and, of course, some good ol' hot chocolate! Be prepared to do your best work as prizes will be awarded for all works of art, but the jackolantern that is voted "best" will win a most coveted prize! Last year's prize was a SeaLife camera!
C'mon out and join the fun on October 31st, at the Irmo end of the Lake Murray Dam! Be there or be square!
